Candidates must have finish carpentry experience. The position requires a personal vehicle, tools, and a checking account to accept direct deposit of pay. Experience with store remodels, store setup crews, big box retail experience and/or new store openings is highly desired.
Extensive travel is required, with expenses reimbursed.

Position Description
- Responsible for presenting a professional image of Merchco Services to our clients and retail personnel
- Ability to read schematics and merchandise actual store according to POG
- Ability to read label descriptions and UPC codes to ensure shelf tagged correctly
- Extensive profiling of bays and sections, including shelving and accessories
- Build specialty merchandising units, stands, and displays
- Work in new store, remodel, and reset/roll-out environments, including overnight work in typically up to two-week projects
- Able to travel extensively for projects nationwide
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as a part of a team
- Maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and store personnel
- Maintain a clean work environment and follow all company safety policies
- Work with a sense of urgency while having attention to detail
Fixture knowledge:
- General knowledge of retail fixtures and shelving. Ability to learn how to build and demo gondola shelving units

Experience with store remodels, store setup crews, big box retail experience and /or new store openings is highly desired.
You will be required to work an 8-10 hour day. Qualifying travel expenses are reimbursed. All employees will be required to participate in a comprehensive training program.
Fixture knowledge:
- Direct as well as construct or reconfigure wide varieties of fixtures to manufacturer’s specifications according to client needs.

We’re seeking a Construction Estimator/Project Manager to join our fast-growing Merchco Team! Your role will include analyzing and preparing bids while administering projects for retail construction remodels and rollouts.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze drawings, bid specifications, and scopes of work to prepare estimates (time, cost, material, and labor).
- Prepare accurate proposals and quotes to submit to customers within specified due dates.
- Oversee project pricing, subcontractor coordination, skill evaluation, bid preparation, and submittal of bids for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Obtain bids from subcontractors and vendors and negotiate pricing.
- Identify scopes, material needs, qualified subcontractors and/or material suppliers.
- Consult and communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and management regarding any and all aspects of bid and/or project details, clarifications, and changes.
- Prepare and maintain a directory of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Perform administrative duties as part of contract administration.
- Travel to site visits, client meetings, and installation projects as needed.
- Participate in activities and meetings on-site to gain an understanding of our work and client needs.
- Assist departments with marketing, account follow-up, and invoicing.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction estimating, construction management, and/or contract administration is preferred. A degree in Construction Management is an advantage, but not required.
Skill Requirements:
- Working knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Understanding and ability to perform basic accounting and provide customer-driven solutions

Project Lead Position:

We currently have opportunities for experienced Retail Project Leads to assist with our national remodel/new store installation programs. The position requires strong management skills, attention to detail, a history of completing projects on time and under budget and a commitment to provide the best quality and service in our industry. Experience with store remodels, new store setup crews or a background in retail management is preferred. Our Project Leads are actively involved in the project execution.
The Project Lead reports to an Account Manager or Assistant Account Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read planograms, store layouts, merchandise, and determine day to day scope of work.
- Assigns responsibilities to team members
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and customer supervisors, keeping them informed of any changes and other relevant project information.
- Must be able to assemble store fixtures and graphics.
- Qualified Project Leaders must understand profit-and-loss. Manages the project budget through tracking of expenses on a weekly basis.
- Project Leaders must possess strong problem solving and team building skills, and the ability to train team members
- Project Leaders ensure that all project-related documentation is complete, up-to-date and sent to the assigned person on time
- Project Leaders must understand and enforce company policies, procedures and safety rules
Qualifications:
